As the NFL Owners Meeting continues, we got some clarity on who the Philadelphia Eagles will face in their Week 1 matchup down in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

While speaking with local reporters, Green Bay Packers President Mark Murphy said it’s between his Packers and the Cleveland Browns. The NFL is expected to make a formal announcement next week.

The NFL also announced that the Brazil game will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, which is just the worst. But the good news is, for Eagles fans in the northeast the game will still be televised like normal on NBC.

When I originally wrote about the team’s potential opponent when the Brazil game was first announced, I picked the Packers as my favorite to land it. Hopefully that ends up being the pick.

Phans of Philly packages for Brazil

Looking to get in on the action down in Brazil? Join us with Phans of Philly as we take over Sao Paulo.

Due to high demand, they’re only offering one trip package at this time. This includes your flight down to Brazil (a direct flight from Newark to Sao Paulo), ticket to the game, hotel stay, and tailgate.

Here’s the entire breakdown of the trip from Phans of Philly’s website:

All packages will be 5 nights with and without flights. The air will be out of Newark and direct into Sao Paulo! Once we land in Sao Paulo we will board a direct flight with the group to Rio De Janeiro!

We will be offering 2 sets of arrival and departure dates. Each option can be found on its own tab.

Each option will begin its stay in Rio De Janeiro! Where we will stay 3 nights right across from Copacabana Beach! For some of us, this might be our one and only visit to Brazil. Making the extra trip to Rio is worthwhile! Between the beautiful beaches, many restaurants, and well known tourist attractions. There is something for everyone!

The remaining 2 nights will be in Sao Paulo. We will be staying at highly rated hotels in the Jardins district. Which is considered the safest neighborhood in Sao Paulo. Also, walking distance to one of the main roads Paulista Avenue. Both hotel options are rated 100/100 on Trip Advisor Reviews for walking.

All packages include game tickets and much more! Each tab will have a breakdown of what is included in each option. If you have any questions please feel free to email joe@phansofphilly.com

Get your package today at phansofphilly.com and help us lead our Eagles to victory!
